Step 2:

Comprehend the UBC material and pass the UBC real estate exam within 2 years — you have 2 chances to pass the UBC exam!

The real estate course that the UBC offers is a correspondence course. This means that you must have sufficient time and self-discipline to study by yourself and succeed — most students find it extremely challenging, and it takes many students at least a year to reach the point where they can sit for the real estate licensing exam.

UBC offers its own online support and real estate tutorial lectures, but you have to get through some complicated mathematics and complex law portions of the real estate course by yourself as well.
You must study diligently and make sure you understand the course material

You must submit 20 assignments (400 questions in total) within one year. You are only permitted to submit 2 assignments per week regardless of when you registered with UBC — you cannot write the UBC real estate exam if you didn’t submit your real estate courses’ assignments.

After completing your UBC real estate course's 20 assignments and studying the course material comprehensively, you can write the UBC paper exam. This exam is offered once every 3 months and you will receive your results within 3 weeks.

Or you may choose to write the UBC real estate exam on their computers at UBC as soon as you are ready. You may do this Monday to Friday at 9:00 am or 1:00 pm, for an additional cost. In this case you will get your results the next business day.

The pass score is 70% and you can write the UBC real estate exam only twice — if you fail both times, you will have to register for the UBC course all over again.

Passing the UBC real estate exam does NOT provide you a real estate license, but it gives you the right to apply for another course that must be taken before you can apply for your real estate license.
