Excel Realty Academy helps BC students prepare for the UBC real estate licensing exam through structured classes, mock exams, and guided preparation designed to build real understanding and confidence before starting their Realtor® career in British Columbia.

We offer two flexible real estate exam prep schedules to fit your timeline and learning style.

Both programs include 12 live classes (in-classroom or online) plus a final mock exam session designed to prepare you for the real UBC licensing exam.

Option 1: 3-week Intensive In-Classroom Program

Our fastest route to completing your pre-licensing preparation. Ideal for students preparing to begin their Realtor® career in BC sooner.

In just 3 short weeks, you’ll attend 12 in-person classes, each 2–3 hours long.

  • Classes run Monday to Thursday, or they may begin on a Tuesday (depending on the session start date).
  • If your program starts on a Tuesday, your schedule will look like this:
    • Week 1: Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday
    • Weeks 2 & 3: Monday to Thursday
    • Week 4: Final class on Monday to complete all 12 sessions.

This option is ideal if you want to complete your preparation quickly and stay fully immersed in the material.

Option 2: 6-Week Flexible Program (In-Classroom or Online)

Prefer a slower pace or have a busy schedule? Our 6-week program covers the same 12 lessons but spreads them out over six weeks — giving you more time to absorb the content.

Schedule Options:

  • In-Classroom: Monday & Wednesday evenings
  • Online (Live via Zoom): Tuesday and Thursday evenings
  • Each session is 2–3 hours long, with real-time interaction, Q & A, and personalized support.

Study Materials

Our program provides everything you need to prepare for the UBC real estate licensing exam with clarity and confidence, combining guided instruction, practice, and interactive support:

  • Assignment Support: Step-by-step guidance to complete your UBC course assignments.
  • Study Materials: Student hard copy workbook, condensed chapter notes, and PowerPoint presentations.
  • Comprehensive Online Course: Get full access to our online real estate course and training materials.

Practice Questions:

  • 1,000 practice questions coil-bound organized by chapter.
  • Online version of the same 1,000 questions with detailed explanations to clarify concepts, terminology, and answers.
  • Quizzes after each chapter to reinforce knowledge and track your progress.

Instructor-Led Support:

  • Interactive discussions of real estate law to help you master legal concepts.
  • Hands-on problem-solving for complex math questions that may appear on the exam.

Final Preparation Mock Exam

2–3 weeks after completing either the 3-week or 6-week program, you’ll attend a final preparation class that includes:

  • A hands-on mock exam simulating the real UBC exam experience.
  • A review of the latest updates and essential information you need to succeed.
  • Access to 6 online mock exams afterward, so you can practice at home as close to the real exam as possible.
  • If you’re not ready after your first mock exam, you can repeat the classes for free with extended access to your study materials.

Our online live classes are exactly the same as our in-person classes: full interaction, live Q&A, problem-solving exercises, and mandatory video participation to maximize engagement.

Our Support Policy

At Excel Realty Academy, we do not push students to write the exam before they are ready.

  • After your first full mock exam, if you feel you need more time or additional review, you are welcome to repeat the classes for free with extended access to your study materials.
  • If you choose to write the exam and do not pass, you are also welcome to attend the classes one more time at no additional cost, with your online access restored, provided you write the exam within 3 months of your most recent class and restart immediately after receiving your result.

Payment Structure

All of our real estate courses — 3-week in-person, 6-week in-person, and 6-week online live via Zoom — are priced the same:

  • Standard Fee: $1,499 + GST
  • Current Promotion: Save $200 → $1,299 + GST

Payment Details:

  • Tuition is fully payable at the time of registration.
  • Accepted payment methods: cash, e-transfer, credit card via PayPal, or PayPal account.
  • No installments are offered. Our payment structure is simple, clear, and designed to keep the program straightforward for all students.

Better Preparation Matters

Many students underestimate how challenging the UBC real estate exam can be. Structured preparation, consistent practice, and strong understanding often make a major difference in exam performance and confidence.

Enrollment Conditions:

  1. You must be currently enrolled in the UBC Sauder School of Business Real Estate Trading Services Licensing Course.
  2. English Proficiency Requirements:
    • If you do not meet the BCFSA English requirement and are not fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English, you must pass the CELPIP-General exam before starting our classes.
    • If you do not meet the BCFSA English requirement but are fluent, you may enroll in our classes and take the CELPIP-General exam later.

After Passing the Real Estate Exam
